One of the founding brothers of our order was called Blazzick, locally Known as Blaise. He compiled a book of wisdom dictated to him by a seer that lived in a cave near the hermitage. This book has given us the rules and direction of our order - if you want to call it that. It give us the reasons to pursue a knowledge that has been lost to mankind, to reclaim gifts given by our creator.
Blazzick would take food to the cave of the seer every day, and in return the seer would impart his wisdom to Blazzick, which he would record on scrolls that reside in our library even today. One day Blazzick went to the cave and found it empty, no sign of the seer could be found, he kept on visiting the cave for weeks but the seer did not return. Blazzick's successor copied the scrolls on to parchment and made them into a book and this became the source and root of all the wisdom since acquired by the brothers.
On the cover of the book is engraved this symbol which until recently we have never been able to understand.
The first page contains an incantation to be recited before reading any part of its contents. It is said this must be done in order to comprehend the real meaning of its cryptic script.
Over the years we have found that reciting the incantation would reveal a hidden meaning into any object or person we encountered, thereby given us a greater insight into the works of our creator.
This ritual spell does drain the life force from any one who uses it more than once in any lunar month, so it is used in turn by the brothers throughout the month, and only to ask questions that every one has agreed are of importance.
Also by the use of the first letters in the spell, it is possible to induce a clairvoyant state of mind, this has been of great benefit to us over the years.
The first ritual we call Li-sabe, the letter ritual we call Li-rem. We are only permitted to use Li-rem in the outside world if it can assist others on the path to enlightenment.
We have produced, by the use of Li-rem, a system of interpretation, that can explain the forces that lie hidden from mankind, forces that play an unseen roll in our destiny. We are permitted to answer questions by the use of the Li-rem system that you think maybe of the greatest importance to your life, but be warned these forces are real and should not be queried if they are treated with disrespect. The consequences of this attitude have been known to rebound in unpleasant ways.
